- Grew up in Austin
- I repeated 1st grade due to reading difficulties
- Learned in school hard work can help you overcome challenges
- I performs music when not teaching with my husband around the US and EU
Why do I love teaching-
It is exciting to see students learn and grow in music, their understanding of the world and in their own talents
Many students are just learning about the amazing things they can do
The opportunity to create a space where it is safe for every student to explore their gifts and talents is an exciting job!
I was a struggling learner, and a few special teachers helped me see my potential, and I feel blessed for the opportunity to pass that same support to students
Hobbies-
- Running, biking, swimming and lifting weights
- Playing with her pup Cash
- Writing songs, recording songs and performing music with my husband
- Speaking at conferences to inspire others in education and music

Repitió el primer grado debido a dificultades de lectura.

Aprendió en la escuela que el trabajo duro ayuda a superar los desafíos.

Cuando no está enseñando, actúa musicalmente junto a su esposo por Estados Unidos y Europa.

¿Por qué me encanta enseñar?

Es emocionante ver a los estudiantes aprender y crecer en la música, en su comprensión del mundo y en sus propios talentos.

Muchos estudiantes apenas están descubriendo las cosas increíbles que son capaces de hacer.

¡Es una labor apasionante tener la oportunidad de crear un espacio seguro donde cada estudiante pueda explorar sus dones y talentos!

Tuve dificultades en el aprendizaje, pero algunos maestros especiales me ayudaron a ver mi potencial; me siento bendecida por la oportunidad de brindar ese mismo apoyo a los estudiantes.

Aficiones:

Correr, andar en bicicleta, nadar y levantar pesas.

Jugar con su perrito, Cash.

Componer y grabar canciones, además de actuar musicalmente con mi esposo.

Dar charlas en conferencias para inspirar a otras personas en los ámbitos de la educación y la música.
